The beauty of every tree is its unique flow of branches and twigs. A "Tree of Life" is symbolic in areas of spirituality, mythology, philosophy and science. In addition, many cultures have used the Tree of Life symbol to represent life, strength, food, shelter, warmth, and wisdom. Teva appreciates its symbolism of human life including the unity of family.
This workshop will guide you in creating your own unique "Tree of Life" pendant while learning techniques to aid in conquering the syringe challenge. This creative workshop will include discussions and guidance in the following: various shapes of trees, pencil line drawing, finding your comfort zone in holding and using the syringe. Each student will receive assistance in finding their comfort zone and guidance in smoothing a syringe creation. This is an excellent class for both beginners and experienced PMC artists. Come conquer the anxiety of working with PMC3 syringe while creating a beautiful "Tree of Life". Please bring your lunch, snacks and drinks.
This is a great introductory (or refresher) workshop. Excellent for all levels. The projects are a pendant and a ring which include lots of techniques such as: setting cubic zirconia, construction, hand texture, bail making, sanding/smoothing, torch and kiln firing, blending seams, PMC3 syringe, sizing rings, making and using ring inserts, burnishing, finishing and patina. Excellent workshop to learn more about Precious Metal Clay and its abilities to transform your greatest creative ideas into Fine Silver Art Jewelry. Feel free to bring your personal PMC tools.
