Level: Beginner to Advanced
In this class, the student will be creating a face sculpture of fine silver using Precious Metal Clay. The face will soon become a character once additional elements and shapes are added. By adding a bail, the character will become a pendant. Cubic Zirconia will be set as the eyes. This is a very fun and creative class. It is amazing how the character begins to appear as early as the sculpturing of the face. An excellent class to learn more about the versatility and workability of PMC. Additional techniques will be smoothing, adding components, as well as creating 3 dimensional fine silver art jewelry. The instructor works closely with students to guide each into sculpturing the shape and features of the face.
